This will be Connect Transit’s first year participating in Night in a Car (Bus). Part of Connect’s mission is to strengthen and enrich individual lives and our community. Connect Transit staff will be teaming up with past NIAC participants and community members to camp out in a 2018 40-foot New Flyer bus. We are excited to join Home Sweet Home Ministries in spreading the awareness of homelessness in the Bloomington-Normal community and help raise money for HSHM to provide the necessary services to those in need.
A note from Monica & Tristan: Team Bullington will be teaming up with Connect Transit this year for Season Three of the Bullington's sleeping in a car comes to you with a big twist: A BUS. Why a bus? Because Monica is on the board for Connect Transit and Tristan thought it would be funny. But Tristan, this isn't supposed to be funny, this is supposed to raise money and awareness for Home Sweet Home? Yeah, well if it's funny, more people will see us and donate.
What isn't changing are our hilarious livestreams. Watch to find out the following:
Will the bus be more comfortable than our car? (Smart money is on no.)
Will the bus be colder than our car? (Smart money is on way colder.)
Will Monica still get annoyed with Tristan for doing this? (If someone bets against this, take the bet, it's free money.)
Will Tristan and Monica have forgotten how uncomfortable sleeping in a car is, be confident that they can do it because they've done it two times before and find themselves surprised at how uncomfortable they are in the morning?
Anyway, we're doing it again and would really appreciate your support. Please donate.
No matter the amount, every donation counts. Please help us reach our goal! THANK YOU!
